We have had quite the weekend. I feel like we have been going non stop since Saturday morning at 6 a.m. and I can't remember if I have slept the last two nights!=) Just kidding!
We had Women's Conference Saturday morning and Michelle and I taught two classes on keeping the Sabbath Day holy. It went wonderful but there was a lot of opposition before hand, as there is whenever you are doing something that the Lord wants you to do.
Then Saturday night we went out with two of my good friends from high school and college, Matt and Alison. We went downtown to the Rathskeller and then walked around the Circle. What a wonderful evening we had with them! They are such dear friends and I was glad that we were able to catch up on life.
Sunday we had to be at church early for a meeting. Mike and I both received new callings in our ward. We are YSA (Young Single Adults) advisors. We are so excited and love it that we get to work together on our calling. I couldn't imagine anyone better to be with!
So, we had meetings until about 9:30 last night and attended a devotional as well. Mike's parents spoke at the YSA fireside. We talked about the importance of reading the scriptures. I loved the topic and have gained such a testimony of reading in the scriptures, that I am excited to share these things with those we will serve in our calling.
Today was hectic, trying to get cookies made for Mike's team. They lost to Southport, but we still enjoyed the game. This was the freshman teams last game tonight...and while we will love having Mike home...we will miss watching the boys play. I know that the boys have come to mean a lot to Mike and therefore mean a lot to our family.
We are counting down the days till our house...as you can tell by our countdown on our blog. We now have a front yard and side! They will seed the back!
I guess this is enough rambling for now. I will try and post some pictures soon!

I'll say. It sounds like you guys are busy and doing well. Congrats on your new callings! That is awesome that you get to work together. We're way excited for you guys to move into your new house! Thanks for posting pictures :) We love and miss you guys tons!
Good to hear from you guys and to see that you're active bloggers, well at least you are. Does Mike ever post anything? We are moving back to Utah in December. It's going to be ugly moving from 80 degress to snow!!! Your kids are so grown up. Last time I saw Emerson he was about 8 months old!!! He is huge. And I don't think I ever have met Jakob. Where are you guys building your house? We may be coming to Indiana sometime in the spring. I'll talk you guys later.
You are getting so close to closing on the house. It'll be a happy day when that day comes, huh! The girls and I will have to come down and see the finished product. We got to see where the house was going to be, now we just need to see the whole thing.
