Life Update!

Well, things in Columbus Indiana are progressing. Our house will be finished in a couple weeks. We went there last night and did flips on our new carpet! Emerson did inform us that he didn't want to move into his new house. I told him we could decorate his bathroom and bedroom any color he wanted and that seemed to satisfy him for the moment.

We went to the pediatrician yesterday and she is awesome. She is really good with the kids and takes plenty of time with you. They have a waiting room for the sick patients and one for the well patients. She even recommended an awesome dentist for the kids.

Jakob has slowed down on his growing a little. He is a little over 20 lbs. He is in the upper 5oth percentile for height, but his head is still really big for his age! He is developing well and can say many words. Here are just a few...cookie, breakfast (at least it sounds like that), Jesus, Mama, Dada, papa, ball, baba, go and dog. He is our sensitive one and likes to be right by Mama.

Emerson is growing fast. He is still in the upper 75th percentile for height and is now in the upper 50th percentile for weight, he has always been in the 25th or lower. They commented on Emerson's speech and how advanced he was for his age. He loves to talk!!!

We get to go down to the Louisville temple tomorrow and are so excited. We are going with our friends the Cheney's and then are going out for dinner afterwards. Yeah for date nights!!!!

I (along with my mother-in-law) will be teaching a class at our stake Women's Conference. I will be presenting ideas and examples for Sabbath Day Activities for little ones. It will be a wonderful chance to share all the things I was able to learn or compile while living in Rexburg.

Mike will be speaking in church a week from this Sunday. He has the topic of "Be of Good Cheer". I informed the bishopric that I think I have met my quota for the year, having spoken two times already.=) They said I could speak the first week in January. I said that would be great, seeing how that is our fast and testimony meeting!!=) I hate to speak, but of course I would if they asked me to!

We had a wonderful weekend with Mike's brother Marc. We always love it when his brothers and sister-in-laws come to visit. We went to Mike's football game on Monday night and unfortunately they loss in over time. I think that makes our record 3-5. Their team has so much talent, but the kids just need a little more motivation.

Well, that is the update of the Nehring Family! We hope that all of our friends and family are doing well. Hopefully, I will start taking some more pictures and get them posted soon!

Love,
Mike, Lindsay, Emerson and Jakob
