August 20th "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!"

As you can see, today is Nana's birthday. We drove up to Greenwood on Saturday and met them for dinner. It was a wonderful evening and the kids did really well at the restaurant (which is always nice)!
Things are really crazy here. Mike is in his second week of school and we have been trying to get him organized and his classroom set up. He has Open House on Thursday night, so we have a lot still to do. The freshman football team has its first game tonight. They will be playing Seymour at home. GO BULLDOGS! We are excited to see the boys that Mike has been working with all summer play. He is over defensive backs and wide receivers. Oh, and he might be coaching wrestling this winter as well. We should know soon.
Our house is coming along. They have the brick and drywall there ready to go. So, we will see what happens with the house this week!
We are switching over to the 2nd ward so we can get settled before the move. We are excited to meet new people and to be in a ward longer than a few months. It is hard when they know that you aren't going to be there very long.
The boys are doing great and still growing a lot. Emerson amazes us every day with his vocabulary, which now includes several Spanish words and phrases (no thanks to his German speaking parents)!
Jakob is walking a long things and can say ball, mama, dada, yeah and nana. He has quite the little personality and can be as stubborn as Emerson sometimes. He has to in order to keep up with that big brother of his!
I am doing well and am just trying to keep up with these three guys. I have had a lot of fun helping Mike with his classroom.
Hope everyone is doing well! We will post pics soon.
