Tonight we had a cookout with some friends from the Columbus 1st and 2nd ward. We had a new family just move into our ward and they have four kids, ages 8-16 months. They just moved here from New Mexico and are working for Cummins. So, we had them over and also a family in the 2nd ward that is from out West. They are here on an internship for Cummins and might be here long term. We also had a family over that Mike has known for a long time. We had a wonderful evening cooking out, playing croquet, and swimming. We then watched the fireworks! What a great evening!!
Potty Training Update: Emerson is doing such a good job using the potty. Mike and some of the guys went to sit closer to the fireworks, so he put a diaper on Emerson (thinking that Emerson wouldn't last that long). Well, Emerson is so use to going on the potty that he refused to go in his diaper. He was jumping up and down telling Mike that he needed to go potty. So, Mike helped him take his diaper off and boy did Emerson ever water those bushes. That poor little guy was about to burst.
We are so proud of Emerson and his accomplishment!! He loves his Thomas the Train underwear=)
